Alastair Campbell and Mishal Husain, live at Cadogan Hall, Thursday 22nd October

Thursday 22 October 2026, 7.30pm · Cadogan Hall, London
Brought to you by The New World magazine

He’s invented a word. He says it’s the word the world needs now. She’s going to make him explain why.

Alastair joins acclaimed broadcaster Mishal Husain on stage to discuss his new book, Persevilience: The Word the World Needs Now (Atlantic). Part memoir, part manifesto and part call to action, it argues that the ability to persevere with resilience matters more than ever, both in our own lives and in shaping a better future for society.

The conversation ranges from the challenges facing Britain and the wider world to the personal, as Alastair writes with characteristic candour about love, loss, friendship and resilience in the face of adversity.

Tickets from £39.50. A limited number of VIP tickets (£94.50) include premium front-row seating, a signed copy of Persevilience, a The New World tote bag and a meet & greet with Alastair over a glass of fizz.
