One response to “352. How to solve the small boats crisis”

  1. I’m listening to this and I’m about 16 minutes into it.
Can Rory when he is telling us that Immigration behind the rise of the Far Right and asking “What is Labour going to do about Immigration?”
just remind us what the big Promise of Brexit was, ie. “We will bring back Control of our Borders.”
and remember that since we left the EU we don’t have the Right to send back small boat immigrants to eg. France.

And please remember that even if you have targets you still have to have a Process (preferably legal) for sorting out the people who have a right to asylum from those who don’t and that this system requires investment . – instead of the Bullsh*t solutions like Ruanda. Also you don’t get anywhere about repatriating people you have to have treaties with the receiving countries to take them back – otherwise you can only chuck them from altitude out of the plane like the Argies used to do.

Farage has ruined the Tories, given us Brexit which tripled immigration and now Rory wants Labour to panic and pander to Farage. ???
