At a time when the United States is threatening to withdraw from NATO, how can Europe maximise its power to deter Russia's threat? If Vladimir Putin were given the territory Donald Trump offered in his peace plan, what would his next move be? Why does the White House keep misunderstanding Putin’s real war aims?

Alastair Campbell is joined by Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, to discuss all this and more.

  1. Superb interview. Campbell really good at letting Zelensky express himself. Understand so much more around this now and the path to the future for Ukraine and the EU – defense, alliances etc.
What a human. As a teacher – I love that he references his education having at base – prepared him for this role and the understanding he has needed.

  2. Thank you Alastair Campbell

For your straightforward and respectful interview with President Zelensky. That entails also letting him speak at length without interruption.

Also appreciated I believe, by President Zelensky is your reference
to Canada. I will add it may not be realized where you are that one quarter of the RAF were Canadians who fought in the Battle of Britain.
And that of the number of those
who came from outside Britain to fight
and die in that battle ——Canadians were second only to the Poles.
